Installing a Chrome App from a folder
If you downloaded the app as a (zip-) file you need to extract and install it manually
- Please de-activated or uninstall any previous KISS GUIs first
- If the files are zipped, extract the content somewhere
- In Chrome, type chrome://extensions/ or go to “Settings – Extensions” (or “Tools -Extensions” in newer versions of Chrome)
- Check “Developer mode”
- Click Load unpacked extension…
- Navigate to the extension’s folder and click OK
- You can now use the Chrome app. For an easy access you can create a shortcut on your desktop
